RTÉ Radio1 Folk Award nominee Ciara O’Neill is no stranger to the stages of Northern Ireland and beyond. Hailing from Co Armagh and now based in Belfast, she has written with Grammy winning songwriters in Nashville, performed to a US TV audience of 60 million and showcased her music throughout the US, Canada and Europe. Fresh off the release of her acclaimed EP ‘Woman’ (2024) Ciara’s music has topped the airplay charts of BBC Radio Ulster and RTÉ Radio1 and she received a nomination for Best Emerging Artist at the RTÉ Radio1 Folk Awards. As well as selling out several shows for the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival and Sound of Belfast she has represented Belfast during a UNESCO city of music trip to London, Ontario where she played the main stage of Home County Music and Arts Festival. Ciara has also been supported by the prestigious PRS Foundation ‘Women Make Music’ fund.
